I think that Kagome will keep the jewel and use it to continue traveling between worlds OR i think she will stay there because in episode (62?) she had that dream where inu yasha and everyone wasnt real and she was all depressed and like "i wanted my life this way but it doesnt feel right..." so i think she might stay behind in the Feudal Era

I think Kagome will most likely take the jewel shard with her to her time, because:

1. It'll be much, much safer there. 2. She'll be able to pass through the well, when she wishes.

I highly doubt Inuyasha wants to become a demon now, he even mentioned in one episode (Father's old enemy, Ryokoutsei, or how ever you spell that tongue strainful name o_O), to Totosei that he was terrified of his demon half, and didn't want to change again.

..I'm curious..is there any OFFICIAL word that the series is going to end..? I really hope not - Inuyasha has changed my life..it really has. >_< Anyway, you have an awsome site, keep it up, girl!

Actually, that rumor was confirmed as just that--a rumor. Rumiko is getting up there in age, but she admitted "I can't leave the fans of the series like that."
Although it's another rumor, it has been said that Rumiko will continue working on some more episodes and possibly pass it on to someone else, making it round out to about 250-300 episodes all together, roughly.
I just have to remind everyone that some 'officials' told the fans that Inuyasha was coming to a close around the 100th episode and even gave a date and time of the 'last airing episode.' But, it's airing.
