Kagome Higurashi (日暮 かごめ) is the average 15 year old in present day Japan living at the Higurashi shrine, which is cared for by her grandfather. One day a demon pulled her through the ancient well on the grounds of the shrine to the Sengoku period of the feudal era. There she learns that she's a reincarnation of a deceased priestess who guarded the Shikon jewel, which was reborn into her body. Unfortunately shortly after retreiving the jewel, it shattered into many fragments and scattered across Japan. Kagome feels it's the least she can do to team up with the hanyou Inuyasha (犬夜叉), the one who was in love with Kagome's previous form, in order to find all the pieces of the fragmented jewel.

One morning he receives a call from his grandmother to go to the Hinata House (日向荘), the same place he made his promise to the girl. To his surprise, Hinata House is no longer an inn, but it's an all-girls' dormitory. He is left to be manager of the dormitory, which many of the tenants disagreed to at the beginning. Tune in to see the trials and tribulations of this second year ronin as he tries to conquer his dream and finding his long lost love. :]
