04:Full Swing

フリキリ, Furi Kiri

The scene opens when everyone is in awe at how far Haruko has hit the baseball at the game. The Martians are playing, which is coached by Naota's grandfather, Shigekuni. Unlike his older brother, Naota's skill are quite impaired, so aweful that they replaced him with Canti. Canti turns out to be the best player on the leaque. Naota becomes annoyed with his father and Haruko's actions lately since they've been conducting in activities that may seem highly sexual.

He starts to take his anger out on a vending machine when Commander Amarao is first seen and he warns Naota to keep a close eye on Haruko's antics, stating that she cannot be trusted. At the headquarters of the Interstellar Immigration, Amarao and the woman who is in second to command of him, Lieutenant Kitsurubami, notice that the satellite is damaged and has dropped from the Earth's orbit and is now rapidly falling towards Earth. Meanwhile, Naota is getting so fed up with his father and Haruko's actions that he hits him over the head with his baseball bat. Amarao comes in and interrogates Naota about the incident and Naota says he only swung at the T.V. (which he really did) and speaks more about Haruko, Atomsk, and the N.O. channel. Amarao tells Naota the thing that got knocked out was a robot.

Naota goes back home and when he opens a closet he finds the rotting corpse of his father and revives him in the tub. When Mamimi spots the falling satallite, Haruko reports back to the house to get Naota and they arrive at the Medical Mechanica plant. She uses his N.O. channel to obtain a guitar, gives it to him and leaves him to face the satellite himself. After screaming his brother's name, he finally swings and hits the satellite and it stops in midair and when the bomb nearly detonates, Haruko hits it with her own guitar.
